01

Read the guarantee as a process, not a universal promise

Kakobuy publishes an official help page called the 5-Day Return/Exchange Guarantee. The name is useful, but it should not be interpreted as a promise that every warehouse item can be returned for any reason. Eligibility can depend on the seller, product, timing, evidence and the reason selected. Customized goods, sensitive products, removed packaging or seller exclusions may change the result. Open the current after-sale option in the order and read the live terms before assuming coverage. The safest practice is to research returnability before purchase, review the warehouse evidence as soon as it appears and submit a precise request while the domestic order is still within the displayed window.

02

Distinguish a quality issue from a preference change

Kakobuy’s official guarantee explanation says the user is responsible for shipping fees when the product has no quality issue, while the seller bears them when the product has a qualifying quality issue. That distinction makes the reason and evidence important. A wrong item, clear damage or a major mismatch with the ordered option is different from changing your mind about the color or choosing the wrong size. Do not exaggerate a preference into a defect. Describe the observable problem and attach the warehouse photo that shows it. If the issue is sizing, compare the photographed measurement with the seller’s chart and selected option. A clear, accurate request is more likely to reach the right responsibility decision.

03

Check the order as soon as warehouse photos appear

The return decision should happen before international shipping. Confirm identity, color, size, quantity, visible condition and included pieces. For fit, use measurements rather than the label alone. For shoes or accessories, compare paired items and major construction points. If a critical angle is missing, request a close-up only when it will determine the decision. Save the listing, selected variant and warehouse images. Waiting can consume the displayed after-sale window or make seller communication harder. A fast review does not mean a careless review; it means using a repeatable checklist when the photos first become available.

04

Build a compact evidence package

A useful after-sale request identifies the order, selected variant, expected result, actual result and requested solution. Attach one or two decisive images rather than an unsorted album. Mark the location of a stain, broken component or wrong label in the description. If the seller listing promised a specific measurement or accessory, include the relevant saved screenshot. Avoid emotional or vague language. Warehouse support and the seller need to determine whether the issue qualifies, who pays domestic freight and whether return or exchange is possible. Evidence cannot force a seller to accept an excluded product, but it reduces ambiguity.

05

Understand domestic return freight

A return from the Kakobuy warehouse travels domestically back to the seller. Under the official explanation, non-quality returns generally place that freight on the user, while qualifying quality issues place it on the seller. The exact amount and any seller requirement should be confirmed in the current request. The original seller-to-warehouse freight may not always be refunded. Compare the domestic return cost with the product value and the consequence of keeping it. For a low-cost item with a minor acceptable variation, return freight may not be worthwhile. For a wrong or unusable product, the evidence and timely request matter more.

06

Allow time for an exchange

An exchange is not an instant warehouse edit. The original product must return to the seller and the replacement must be dispatched again. Kakobuy’s help result says this process usually takes about 7–20 days for the replacement to return to storage, depending on the seller. Seller stock and domestic logistics can extend the process. Decide whether the parcel should wait, whether other items should ship separately and whether the storage calendar allows enough time. If the replacement needs additional freight or a price difference, confirm it before approval. A return and new purchase may sometimes be simpler than an exchange, but the live options determine what is available.

07

Know when a return may be difficult

Products can be difficult to return when they are customized, made to order, used, incomplete or restricted by seller terms. Color differences caused only by screen display can be hard to prove as a quality issue. Items described as sensitive may also have different purchasing and shipping conditions. Do not remove tags or authorize irreversible services before the keep decision. If the listing has no clear return support, treat that risk as part of the purchase. A cheap item is not necessarily low-risk when it cannot be returned and occupies expensive parcel space.

08

If the seller disputes the request

A rejected request does not automatically prove that the warehouse ignored the issue or that the seller is correct. Re-read the selected reason, applicable guarantee and seller terms. Check whether the evidence actually shows the claimed problem and whether the request was filed within the displayed period. If information is missing, provide a clearer warehouse image, measurement or saved listing detail and ask support what specific condition was not met. Keep the conversation focused on a remedy that is available: return, exchange, partial solution or clarification. Do not authorize international shipment while an important after-sale case is open. If the seller still refuses and the item is ineligible, compare the cost and risk of keeping it with any remaining platform option. Document the result for future seller selection. A calm case file is more useful than repeated general messages because it shows exactly what was ordered, received, reported and answered.

09

International delivery problems use a different evidence path

A warehouse return concerns the seller-side product before international shipment. Damage or loss during international transport involves the parcel, route and carrier. Kakobuy’s receipt guidance says visible damage should be inspected in front of the courier before signing where possible, with physical photos and supporting information provided for postal compensation. Photograph the unopened parcel, label and damaged area, then record the unboxing. Do not confuse a seller defect visible in QC with transit damage that appeared after dispatch. The evidence and responsible party differ.

10

Use a pre-purchase return checklist

Before submitting a product, check whether the option and size are clear, whether the seller supports returns and whether the item is customized or sensitive. Save the listing and selected variant. When it reaches storage, review photos promptly and note the displayed deadline. If there is a problem, submit one precise request with the relevant evidence and confirm domestic freight responsibility. Do not add the item to an international parcel until the request is resolved. This process cannot guarantee seller acceptance, but it uses the official after-sale structure at the stage where a practical remedy is still possible.
